For every move, we take as many precautions as possible to ensure that all of your belongings are handled with care. Over 95% of our moves are successfully completed with no problems whatsoever. Depending upon the value of your possessions and how insurance minded you are, you many elect to sign up for supplemental coverage.
For PA Shipments & Interstate Shipments
Basic insurance - the basic insurance that comes with your move at no additional cost is termed 60 cents per pound, per article. (i.e., a piece of furniture or other item weighing a hundred pounds that is damaged would be covered for $60.00) Often times under this coverage our furniture refinisher can take care of minor repairs or touch-ups.
For PA Shipments
Full Value Protection provides comprehensive insurance on your household goods up to $100,000 per truck load. $20,000 is the minimum coverage at a cost of $8.50 per $1,000 in declared value = $170.00. Please inform Moody Movers’ office personel at least 48 hours prior to your move if you require additional insurance coverage.
For Interstate Shipments
Full Value Protection is always recommended for interstate moves up to $100,000 per truck with a $0, $250 or $500 Deductible. Peace of mind.
